Little Merlin has finally reached the 1 pound mark, plus a bit

He's still pretty small but other than that, he's doing great. He has a surplus of energy and is taking the term 'house panther' a little too seriously so I'm working on ways to deter him from trying to shred me. He's now able to climb on and off the furniture.

I introduced him to kitten kibble, this morning, and for some reason he thinks he has to kill it before he can eat it. I'm going to try mixing a little in his slurry.

Now Arthur is starting to interact with him. Not quite as friendly as Gryff does but I saw the curled up together, the other day. Arthur does give Merlin a pop on the head when Merlin gets too chompy.

The boys will teach him some manners. You may have the makings of a little rascal. 😄

I could lose myself in playing with them every day. It's good that the big boys are interacting with him now. It will be more frequent as he gets bigger, I would guess.

He's in good hands and paws, he has a whole family to bring him up right!

Kittens that grow up with their litter mattes learn when they are getting too rough or chomping too hard by the way the other kittens react. Some cat experts recommend letting out a loud noise like a litter mate would when a kitten bites too hard, because that's how they learn not to hurt each other.

When Arthur swats Merlin for chomping, he is helping the little guy learn how to behave like a properly civilized young cat. Way to go, King Arthur!
