Quite the wake up 'call' this morning

Merlin crawled beneath the covers and bit me on the butt!! That woke me up! I hurried to the kitchen and dished up the kid cats breakfast.

As soon as Merlin finished his, he crawled back up on the bed and curled up against my stomach. Within seconds he was fast asleep.

He is VERY intrigued by the prism lights, or Pixie Lights as I call them. It was fun watching him scamper around the den, chasing them.

It turns out that Merlin is already in the overlord category demanding service from his minions. Interesting times await you.

All 3 big brothers are now spending time with him. Madoc still gives him an occasional but gentle paw pop. Merlin is bold and absolutely fearless around them.

Beware of repeat performances!

I have a mirrored sphere, disco ball, but small... 3". I used to hang it near or in a window so that it would have moving spots. Cats just go nuts trying to catch them all when the thing is in a very slow spin with sunlight on it. You have to do it in a room where few things can get knocked over, like in a sunroom. I had it in the bedroom with a large bed in the corner of them room, my cat at the time I used it most, would scramble all over the bed and leap up the walls trying to catch them all. Great entertainment for her.

well-fed will do or as Merlin would say, “you do what I want you to do or you get a butt-bite.”

The Wonder Dog of blessed memory had herding genes, lab & border collie & who knows.

He bit my my tush once onec as he was a puppy. It was an educational moment for both of us.

I miss that dog still. 💙
