WWII: 3 Dutch Girls, Teen Resistance Fighters Lured Nazi Collaborators To Execution

During World War Two, the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands turned three teenage girls into fierce resistance fighters. Truus Oversteegen, Freddie Oversteegen and Hannie Schaft have been remembered for their technique of luring collaborators into the forest for them to be executed.

Too goddamned relevant. They're marching around in the US quite openly.

I'd like to make them afraid to do so.

Great icon choice, by the way.

resurfaced in a big way for good reason.

Given all the actions and signs in the past 5 years, I really hope we, and democracy prevail in the coming months and years. But it could be rough waters. Thanks for the background on Ike, I always respected and liked him.

Watched the 'Chicago 7' on Netflix, enjoyed it. Abbie was well played, sharp mind and wit. It was interesting meeting him before a lecture many years ago.

I met him a few times. Most notably at the Kerouac Conference in 1982. I got to watch him debate Allen Ginsberg on the balance between internal and external political activisim. He always had such a grounded, common sense approach for an excellent dreamer.
