Annoyed at Yahoo...

If you use Yahoo Mail, you can't help but see the "headlines" in Yahoo News.
I always thought Yahoo News was right leaning, but now I'm certain.

The day after the RNC, and for 2 days following (Labor Day weekend), Yahoo News plastered a huge banner of Romney on the stage. I put up with Romney's CEO lying face (whenever I checked my mail), figuring Yahoo would be doing the same for the DNC...

Below is the Yahoo News page the day after Obama's speech at the DNC (time to move over to gmail):

....after I began to notice that all of their "news" stories contained a right wing slant and were drawn from neo nazi news sources.

I also began to notice that the bylines of their news stories don't necessarily have anything to do with the content of the actual story, because their primary intent is just to get you to click on the story so that they can use the stats of the total number of hits on their stories to justify the increase in rates that they charge their advertisers. It's known as capitalism or advertising or deception.

It's a real dichotomy, given that Yahoo is based in the socially progressive, liberal, San Francisco Bay Area. I subscribe as a paying customer to their shoddy email service, but the only reason why is because it is convenient for me to do so. For my internet browser, I gave up on Yahoo and I now use Google, with much greater satisfaction and no heart burn..

And as a further caution, I would recommend staying away from filling out a "profile" on their "big brother" Yahoo Messenger. If you do so, be prepared to have them give links to it to every person who you send an email to, and to attach all of your messenger comments, as well as comments on any of their "news" stories, to your emails as well. It's the "Face Palm" approach of trying to expose as much information about you to as many people as they possibly can. That way, you know that someone is always looking over your shoulder.

But beware of bias on the part of myself because I absolutely abhor anything to do with "Face Palm" or Zuckerface.

upon edit to expand thesis.

I too will move over to Google. I did figure out how to avoid looking at the News when I first open mail, but the News still looks you dead in the face when you log out.

8. 2 YAHOO REPORTERS ARE ROMNEY MEN

There are at least 2 yahoo reporters who are more than a little biased and in the bag for Romney...One is Jake Tapper who was busted earlier this week supplying false Romney talking points on Libya and who recently wrote a Yahoo article blasting Obama as giving out false information which is surprising to see such a title.

My favorite By far though is OLIVIER KNOX. His tweets during the conventions (i will include the highlights of his comments on the next post) were flat out attacks on democrats. He mocked speakers before they took the stage, declared nothing about obamas speech would be remembered before Obama gave it and frequently called democrats liars while giving the Romney camps spin he was recieving. On the other hand he claimed the Rnc had indeed produced a bump and was in near tears at how moving it was. Currently Knox has two articles on yahoo. One entitled "doctor surprised at vitality and youth of ROmney saying seems like much younger man" The other announces Romney has kept his promise to release his tax returns by instead offering to release a piece of paper with a brief summary of them. Knox praised this as a promise KEPT and chastised democrats who would raise issue with the paper.Knox also praised the generosity of Mitt Romney as evidenced by his cooked books 2011 returns

9. Yahoo reporter Olivier Knox ignorant tweets during convention

Below are just some of the blatantly biased tweets Olivier Knox sent during the conventions. Please note that sept 6th mentioned in the first tweet below was the night the president gave his acceptance speech. Knox made the comment before the president even took the stage as he had been insulting democrats all night. This is yahoos white house correspondant and "unbiased" reporter

Knox DNC tweets- 1) Earth, Wind and Fire won't perform tonight at DNC. Guess we won't remember 6th night of sept . 2)--2012 Democratic National Convention: Remarks as Prepared for Delivery by Scarlett Johansson 3)Not really better off than I was four hours ago, definitely not better than four coffees from now 4)My opponent and his running mate are new to foreign policy." ...which means they'll get the Nobel Prize presumably /

Knox at RNC--1)absolutely fascinating look backstage on the Romney campaign.
2)The rose story was beautiful // For me, nothing can touch the image of him helping thedying kid write his will. 3)A quick thing about Rubio: He is every bit as well-spoken when you corner him with a question in the Senate. #GOP2012 4)How great was @NJGovChristie’s keynote speech last night

How do they afford that, what with their non-existent business plan and revenue stream?
