Joan ClearbrookOccupy Wall Street

With only a few exceptions, US corporate mainstream networks are nothing more than huge crap outlets that encourage their audiences to buy crap that they don't need & fill people's minds with horror, lies, fear, dark fiction & other types of crap. Most corporate news programs are controlled by the 1%. They share the goal of perpetual war & enslavement of mankind. They serve as cheerleaders for our military's invasions & occupations. They decide what is & what is not news and in so doing, distract their viewer's (the masses) attention from important matters that could mean positive changes for all of us, to trivial matters - so that their boat won't be rocked.

They are far more interested in keeping their power over the people & their fat incomes, than they are in seeing any changes that will lead to significant progress. Their filthy corporate objectives keep people in the dark and in chains.

Break free! Turn off the TV, utilize, & support independent, alternative
& progressive news media & encourage others to do so too! Just say no!

"...if we are to produce a more civilized society, a more just society, it has to be based upon the truth. Because judgements which are not based upon the truth can only lead to outcomes which are themselves false."

"The media is the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses." Malcolm X

"One reason that propaganda often works better on the educated than on the
uneducated is that educated people read more, so they receive more propaganda. Another is that they have jobs in management, media, and academia and therefore work in some capacity as agents of the propaganda system--and they believe what the system expects them to believe. By and large, they're part of the privileged elite, and share the interests and perceptions of those in power." Noam Chomsky

I don't watch corporate news anymore. Not even msnbc. I really don't like being fed pre-chewed news.

Current TV, Link TV, and my blessed DU. Sad to think most people never ever see them.
