Could the sixth time be the charm? Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael attempted an intervention with his famous daughter at a Beverly Hills home on Friday to get her into rehab – a place she has been five times since 2007 – but it did not have positive results. Police were called by someone in the residence purporting to be the actress’ boyfriend, who claimed that Michael and those with him were trespassing, according to TMZ.
The elder Lohan, who has been to rehab plenty of times himself, told the site that Lindsay’s “entire team” agreed with him that she has fallen off the wagon, citing her no-show on the set of “The Canyons” on Wednesday to do voice-over work. The movie’s writer, Bret Easton Ellis, tweeted that he had sent over his fictional serial killer, “American Psycho’s” Patrick Bateman, to the Chateau Marmont “to confront her as to why she missed her f***ing ADR [Automatic Dialog Replacement] on The Canyons today..."
Lindsay, 26, told TMZ last week that she had cut Michael out of her life after he recorded and released a phone call she made to him in the wee hours of October 11 in which she told him her mother Dina was high on cocaine and would not let her out of a limo after a night of partying in New York City. “I don’t want anything to do with him,” she said the next day. “I’ve tried so many times … you just don’t do this to your child.” After Lindsay’s interview, Michael responded, “This is just another manipulation by Dina to control Lindsay. Dina is just using Lindsay to cover her tracks … I know Lindsay loves me and I love her very much."
If I never heard from Lohan again it'd be too soon.
