Documentaries About Propaganda and Propaganda Technique Used By News Entertainment Shows

News Entertainment such as Morning Joe, uses a propaganda tactic referred to as truth inoculation where a person only hears weak arguments for democratic issues and strong unchallenged arguments for conservative positions.

This is a link to a review of ten documentaries about propaganda in US media.

They seemed to have the appearance of fairness until you realized something was off. They'd play strong sound bites of Romney, (often played first) and then a reporter would paraphrase (no actual sound bite) a weak point of Obama. And they started taking out the audience applause going on behind the candidates remarks, applause which would often be loud and extended on the clip of an Obama rally, but muted, short or non existent on a clip of a Romney appearance. Don't have a count for how often they did this, but often enough that it was noticeable to me.

I recall listening to one program about how primitive Europeans are lazy and taking long vacations and only working 8 hours a day and how they needed to get with it like Americans and embrace the corporate machine.

Filmmaker, Andrew Napier has been following the story of TYT for the past three years and capturing great stories along the way including Cenk's move to MSNBC and Current TV. In order to keep this documentary objective and independent, Andrew needs to raise at least 60k to pay for legal fees and various other things involving the movie. Check out http://www.indiegogo.com/madashell for more information about the TYT documentary and to contribute.

Let's get the word out about this film so we can break through the right wing noise machine!
