Just checking in in the afterglow of victory

How is everyone? I hit a brick wall after Tuesday and needed three days to recuperate and get out of campaign mode. It's always a letdown after a campaign ends -- even when we win! I hate to imagine what it would have been like had we lost. I'm looking forward to FOUR MORE YEARS!!!!

I feel great thanks for asking....I have a distinct calm because I know our country is in safe hands ...our elderly won...our poor won....our veterans won...our disabled and abled won ....our middle class won..education won the entire country won...and I feel the warmth of knowing it took all of US coming together and seperating ourselves out from the lies..the racism ...the suppression to do it....I love this country ...I love our POTUS.....I love democracy......

I was going to start a thread about feeling "changed." Like you, I feel calm, whole. Like I don't have to keep a close eye on things anymore ... don't have to be as vigilant.

I want to listen to music more. Read more. Unhook more, for awhile ...

Then I'm going to get TV for the 1st time in 20 years, so we can watch President Obama's 2nd term unfold!
