no respect as much as there isn't much more to say. There have been many threads about Veterans Day and even my son, an active duty soldier, tires of the thank yous. He doesn't realize most Vietnam vets served 1 year in very tumultuous times back home. I personally know soldiers that have done 3,4 and even 5 tours between the 2 wars when the country at home supported it.

I think you're finding the lack of response to the changing times,i.e. lack of support for wars we never should have been involved in. God forbid though, we get back to the era where soldiers were spit upon and called baby killers. I never want to go through that again

To be able to be a part of washing the wall on the saturday during memorial day. Very powerful.
