VA Drive In Flu Shots

No kidding. During this week and next, the VA here (American Lake, Lakewood WA) is offering flu shots from 8 to 4. I figured I have to park and go to the admin building and wait in line. But as I entered the campus there were signs directing you to the "Drive In Flu Shots". And it literally was. Drove in under a car shelter, got out and got my shot. Less than 5 minutes.

I'm stilling chuckling.

1. A great idea.

I got mine at the grocery store. Put my cart in line and got my shot while keeping an eye on it. I was next at the checkout when I was done getting the shot.

Same thing at the Martinsburg VAMC, WV. Show your ID. Very convenient. We've gone coast to coast.

only there are pharmacies that will give you the shot. Makes it a lot easier.
