A message for the spouses of veterans. Please be patient and remember today. With youre loved one who served ,just over look if they pull out a bottle of hot sauce. Or a packet of processed cheese and add it to their turkey. Just kindly remind them and say dear it is not a turkey loaf MRE.

(2,679 posts)I keep a P38 on a set of keys which is attached to my "Jesus Strap".
That's the bright yellow strap that lets you disconnect your rucksack from your parachute harness. ( Look down and see you are going in the water and need to dump a heavy ass ruck. Yell "Oh Jesus!" And frantically look for that fucker.)
