Vets need prayers for young trooper at benning
His mom just stopped around and mister has troubles he called her yesterday . One he had pneumonia so his ground week got pushed back and he started with a different company being on medical I have lost time because of his sickness as in he would have graduated this week. Now he is holdover in tower week recycled and what I gather is he was having trouble with the swing landers so he caught recycle holdover tower week.
We all know that PLF in school compared too division is actually PFL .a perfect fucking landing cool I think I’m ok after hitting Mother Earth around 0200 in morning as you just take a moment to inventory yourself mentally thinking fuck I should have been a coastie there all probably in bed and nice and warm instead of on a Dz oh fuck it ,As you listen and hear your brothers tossing out motherfuck in whispers around you noise discipline. Thinking to yourself I could use a cigarette not gonna happen until sun up get that thought out your head. Time to ruck up and go to work.
But this young man wanted this and I respect that I was same way at 18 years old. Being part of the 82nd is a great place for young trooper I love all infantry troops past and present. To be airborne is that you want it you proved yourself to get here and the testing of yourself never ends. I told my wife a airborne infantry company is a majority of young teenagers who definitely alpha males motivated aggressive, to quote my old plt sfc . We’re a wolf pack we live together we sleep together and watch over each other and men god forbid but one day we may have to hunt together. He was a fine Nco Vietnam vet only a 8 th grade education but one of the smartest warriors I ever knew. But send him prayers or good vibes friends. I love him I love him deeply I have known him since he was a baby. And he wants this and I think what a stud because I was definitely never no iron mike material.
