My daughter's little farm is growing. The baby turkeys are getting big. The eight geese are out of

their pen because they would eat all the grass and it would have to be moved again. They are not in the barnyard. The baby lambs have finally decided it is okay to be without mom and are loving the place. Baby chicks are ready to go out of their pen also but we are still in the process of moving the chicken house closer to the barn.

So the real excitement came two days ago. The bees started swarming - getting ready to leave because they did not have enough hive space. Everyone had to help get the new hives set up but finally they decided to stay.

They love the bees. When her husband was little his uncle had bees and he remembers helping. jwirr Jun 2012 #2

tell her to keep close watch on bees... super them up! Once I get to my homestead one of the first things I will do is set up bee hives
