Have to believe there are still parts for it. I used to have one of those. Water-box above and bowl below. It was a very simple unit plumbing wise. Parts weren't really a problem.
It was kind of retro-cool.

and ran a snake through toilet; wrote 'new supply line.'
'Retro-cool' might shock it!

A fill valve is a common replacement part. even new toilets have them. Snaking a drain is also something he would have to do even with a new toilet.
But, maybe he is thinking he is coming by a little too often. r he will make a little extra money selling a new install.
