Related: About this forumDoes anyone here have an oxygen concentrator at home?
I recently was put on Oxygen therapy 24/7. The concentrator looks as though it eats children and electricity alive. Wondering what this is going to do to my electric bill. Any clue anyone?

(9,605 posts)and if my calculations are correct (ahem), it will cost me about $15.32 a month, which is doable, and a big relief. Thanks again for the link.

(13,737 posts)we were very short on $, so a big uptick in our bill would have been noticed - - ha, the biggest issue was trying not to trip over his 100-foot hose! He was quite mobile and moved from one end of the house to the other, so I had to "look down" at all times!
And the concentrator does NOT devour children, dogs or cats, either - no worries!

(9,605 posts)I have a 25 foot hose, but I live in a small one bedroom apt. Can't imagine having to deal with 100 feet, but I guess we do what we have to.
