I was given a Good RX card at my doctor's office. Looking forward to using it, I researched the website for the prescriptions I needed to fill and the closest pharmacy. According to the Good RX website, the drugs in question were priced as follows: Rosvustatin $13.92; Calcitrol $28.36 and Irbesartan $35.69. Imagine my shock and horror at finding, when I picked up the prescriptions, that the cost (WITH GoodRX) was Rosvustatin $239.13; Calcitrol $98.79; and Irbesartan $156.54. help@goodrx.com has repeated said on this site that "our prices are accurate and are updated daily." I'm left with no other conclusion than this is an outright fraud. BEWARE!!!!

(52,241 posts)and that is with insur. That is 1/3 of my income! I cried and told my doctor that I can't afford it and he had his nurse hook me up with a special pharmacy that gives it to me for free somehow. I don't ask them how they do it and am just happy that they somehow arranged it. That shows you how overpriced meds are. Now I can afford my other meds and health insur (50% of my income). It IS definitely cheaper to just die in the US. I think that is the GOP plan...kill and bankrupt the sick and the rich get richer.
