some help for low-income (medicare related)

As long as you're prepared to be very very patient.
1."Medicare Prescription Drug Assistance"
administered by Social Security (I don't have the website but you can get info at the SSA site.)

2.PAAD "Universal application for PAAD, senior gold and other special benefit programs."
This is administered by the state, (NJ) www.njpaad.gov. Perhaps other states have similar.

3. Then there's "Low Income Subsidy" which is very annoying and you have to be very low income. I'm waiting since Dec. to find out if I qualify. If I do, they pay the part B premium.
I only have a phone # 1-800-792-8820.
be prepared to wait on the phone 15 minutes.
This is also in NJ, but perhaps available in other states.

Pays or reduces the Part "D" premium, allows you to change plans at any time, closes the donut hole, reduces the deductible and co-payments.
