It is not serious but I am a senior, it is said.
I will defer to my senior seniors to say something sensible since I was always told the young-uns ought be seen, not heard.

Now when does this second childhood begin?

At 72 years, I moved to a new land where the sun shines wrong, I hear a language I don't understand, and life is confusing.
It is like experiential practice for a new incarnation to come; from 2nd childhood to newly child again; from incontinence to incontinence.

Now you can understand why I was always told to shut-up.

I do talk about being older, but mostly in other forums and threads when I feel age is relevant to the ongoing conversation.

For instance, in discussions about the corrupt GOP, I may mention that in my childhood there was such a beast as a moderate Republican. It's like admitting you once knew dinosaurs (no fossil jokes, please).

My comments in the Energy & Environment forum are... dark, suffice it say that age has its blessings. Despite my curiosity to know how things go in the future, I'm just as glad I won't be around to see events first-hand. Given what a ray of sunshine I am, it's probably just as well I don't post more.

At 75 I want to explore new ideas and support progressive ideas to support those coming up behind me. Being a senior isn't really my identity at this point. Maybe when I'm 95 - ah, wishful thinking.

Embarrassing but true — I was born in 1949 and as a child growing up I thought there’d been a total of 3 US presidents in the entire history of the country —George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Dwight Eisenhower!! I was shocked years later when I learned the truth.
