Alabama's rate was increased because the company lost money in claims in the state last year.
We're now in a new 'bracket'.
Most companies won't write new policies on anything south of I-10.
I live in coastal Alabama in a hurricane zone.

I have a friend in FL. She could only get a high priced policy with a $15000 deductible.
