What are black issues?

I will start by acknowledging that I'm a mixed race male in his 40's. I was raised as white, and I identify as white. However, people can tell I'm not totally white, and I often get mistaken for the dominant light brown minority of the region. I am asking this from a position of ignorance, but what exactly are "black issues." I've read opinions that Bernie Sanders has not acknowledged "black issues." What issues need to be addressed that the Clinton camp has apparently done a better job of addressing? Please be specific as I would really like to understand the issues at hand.

Wow. Over 3 years and no reply to this?
I know a light-toned biracial guy in his 60s, and his two biggest racially-sensitive issues are crime (not hate crime, just crime in general) and religion.
He doesn’t like how so many churches are clearly either “black” or “white.”
And he wants to be tough on crime, even though that may have a disproportionate impact on black males.
