Are there resources or paths folks here have found or can send me to that fit this?

(8,447 posts)1. Go to a few libraries, especially the ones which are not nearest your home. At each library, your questions will get better. Finally, go to the library nearest to you.
1a. topics may include food pantries, literacy programs, elder care, voting registration, nature excursions.
1b. Keep the name, phone and email of all the people you contact.
1c. Find ways to be available. Ask your librarian if there is a need for community events in the library.
2. Practice talking about things that you are good at.
3. At home, watch movies, documentaries outside of your comfort zone.
4. Order takeout curry everyday.
