esident Donald Trump honored Black History Month on Wednesday by meeting with a number of his African-American supporters, attacking the media and congratulating himself.

“This is Black History Month. So this is our little breakfast, our little get together,” Trump announced from White House Cabinet Room. “During this month we honor the tremendous history of the African-Americans throughout our country, throughout the world if you think about it, right? And this story is one of unimaginable sacrifice, hard work, and faith in America.”

After noting that his Housing and Urban Development secretary was Ben Carson, the president went on to attack the media for spreading what he what he called “fake news” about the Martin Luther King Jr. bust being removed from the Oval Office.

“The statue is cherished, it’s one of the favorite things, and we have some good ones, we have Lincoln and we have Jefferson, we have Dr. Martin Luther King,” he continued.

“I don’t like watching fake news. Fox has treated me very nice, I don’t know where Fox is, thank you,” Trump said, looking around the room. “We need more jobs, better wages. We’re going to work very hard in the inner city. Ben will be doing that, one of his big things. We need safer communities. We’re going to do that with law enforcement. We’re going to make it safe. We’re going to make it much better than it is right now. Right now it’s terrible.”

And I want to thank Ben Carson, who's going to head up HUD, that's a very big job, and it's a job that's not only housing, it's mind and spirit, right?

That line right there is totally bizarre. Ok his whole ramble was totally bizarre but wow just wow.

I was thinking maybe some sort of distorted Christian dogma in order to convert or make certain individuals conform in order to receive assistance. Make them malleable and silent. He is going to blame any one of the target groups.

yesterday, this speech was the first thing on my page. I decided to 'read more'. As I read on, I started laughing thinking this was satire or goofiness. I looked at the source, thinking it was The Onion or Andy Borowitz. But the source was legit. So it is the satire /comic writer at the source. No it says WH correspondent. This can't be real. It is talking about Frederick Douglass as if he is a community organizer. What's this 'we' celebrated MLK's life last month, who we? Certainly not him.
Still not believing it was real, I moved on to the next item. Call with Australian PM, hung up on him. It too seemed comical and a joke, Moving on. 'Bad hombres down there' (in Mexico). What? Next? same Hey, what is going on? Where is the news?

I started to feel like I fell through the looking glass. Nothing was real. It was all satire. I was a a little shaken. I'm supposed to go to a local indivisible meeting tonight. Has it been canceled?

This mumble, jumble 'can't call it a speech' totally messed with my head. I can't take much more of this.
