I know in the midst of all this shit, the Grammy's may not mean as much

but Adele is right, Beyonce's Lemonade should have won Album of the Year. There is no way Adele's vanilla album tops an amazing social commentary like Lemonade.

The good part was Adele demonstrated how to be a good ally. so there was that

Adele is able to recognize these things and say something about it. important since Beyonce gets a lot of attacks for speaking about things that are uncomfortable to some.

that became popular were based on black american music. most of them never got the recognition or any money . they were ignored in the US because of racism while foreign white artists who used their music ended up making it big.

Clapton himself also has a history of making some anti immigrant comments . it's too bad since i do like his music.

Adele is a huge Beyonce fan but i liked it that she went beyond just general compliments and specifically acknowledged the politics of it.
