(10,173 posts)not a word of the script has been written yet but I really have to ask - was it too much of a stretch to imagine a story line that would have REALLY BEEN SOMETHING where black people got their 40 acres and a mule? Where there was no Jim Crow, no segregation, blacks are prosperous and there's no wealth gap between us and whites??
Too much to ask?
The concept of "Confederate" is expected and typical, and a failure of imagination, but we'll see.
