were years where racist Amerikkka had a real chance to turn a corner. By turn a corner, I mean heal from the grievous wounds that slavery, Civil War(partially), segregation(Jim Crow laws) and just plain fear of skin color that all American races and cultures suffered, and suffer from. From that first Civil Rights Act, passed immediately after the Civil War, to protect the recently freed AA and that affirmed and defined for ALL americans the fact that ALL were entitled to ALL benefit of american CITIZENSHIP they have in one way or another been ignored as a set of laws. We as, African-americans and all decent fair human beings, are still fighting, demanding rights and respect from wypipo in the same way they demand recognition, respect and racial dominance which is just NOT going to happen.. I must tell with conviction, you're no better a representation of humans as I here in 2018, 2018. 
And now facing off against, an OPENLY, white supremacist-racist-sexist, midway barker, con man, mob boss, circus clown with clout POTUS? I capitalized potus for effect, only.
American whites, of European descent, North Americabritish generally, at first, have always had and have all rights, privileges and entitlements of this cultural democracy by virtue of their skin color. Fact. Then the Bakke infected faction of the European-American race show they have not gone away. Out and about, I hear a lot more extraction-oriented languages, Italian, Chech, Rumanian, I guess.
