Sinclair Lewis.

400+ pages, but worth it.

The anti-hero protagonist is TFG. (Spoiler alert: He gets away with everything.)

Don't bother with the Hollywood adaptation/movie. It's a hybrid of EG and Babbitt, both poorly adapted.

Read the book.

I actually talked to the book when I read it; I was that wrapped up in it.
