An Edible History of Humanity by Tom Standage

is a wonderful read. Entertaining, informative, thought=provoking, educational. Standage talks about food as it has influenced population, history, politics. Much more. I learned a lot and liked each minute of my read. Will scan thru it again. Published in 2009 by Walker and Company.
