I haven't read comics in years

but it's got my attention. From what I've read of what they've done with Superman, it's real interesting. I actually thought they should redo his story and have him be Superman in jeans and t-shirt a few years ago, since we're moving away from unrealistic ideas in comic book characters, so it's neat to see that they're doing that (even though they added the cape, which I wouldn't have done). I also like how Superman isn't supposed to be accepted right off, even looked at as a villain (I assume, from what I've read).

I don't like that they've put him in armor, though. Not unless they've weakened his powers to the point of being the original. I've actually had an idea stuck in my head, ever since seeing Captain America: The First Avenger, of putting Superman in a t-shirt and using a leather jacket type thing, with leather pants that cover his red boots to the ankle. The only reason you'd need the suit, being practical, is to withstand the stuff Superman goes through. Maybe that's the point of the armor, but I don't think you need to go that far. It seems to me that the armor would just rub the wrong way with those who distrust a god-like being putting himself in the position of being our "protector."
