1. They should be affordable for kids, the next generation of readers,

When I was a kid in my pre-teenage years, there were so many monthly titles to choose from that I could never afford all that I wanted to read. Now, as an adult , I would have to think about spending what one would cost me, if I ever could come across a store selling them today at discount , like Walmart and similar retailers once did.
It’s unfortunate that the USPS doesn’t consider comics as reading material for the discounted postage rate. Then they could be ordered by subscription, offering them at significant discounts directly from the publishers.
