the last volume of the Thomas Covenant Chronicles is about to be released. and i don't care.

the first trilogy blew my fucking mind. the second one- meh. by this third series, the magic was gone. read the first book and just decided i was done.

thought it my aging, it took it took me awhile to figure it out. but it came to me. I just couldn't care about The Land w/o The Lords.

His stories pulled few punches, and he was harsh with some of his characters.

I barely made it through the first six Covenant books, and when I heard about the third trilogy, I decided to stay away.

The Gap series, while brilliant, was such a struggle to get through at times.

Mordant's Need was a great and concise series. With an actual happy ending, too. Strange for Donaldson, but there it is.

I've been holding off on reading his last series until it was complete. It sounds like I'm going to be disappointed.
