I read where Garland will strike a defiant tone. Well, 2 years ago I watched Garland go before a Senate committee to explain his new task force to deal with threats against public officials, librarians, school board members, election officials, NARA employees, the FBI.
Garland was attacked by every Senate Magat at that hearing. Every Magat Senator came at him with the same message, that he was attacking people's freedom of speech. I watched Garland back right down and say that he was only going to work with local law enforcement(some of whom are the problem) to contain violence.
I'm sure that House Magats are going to bring up this task force which has arrested all of 14 people in 2 years.
I'm sure that House Magats are going to attack Garland for not finding a link between Hunter's crimes and President Biden. Will Garland respond with defiance or meekness?
Hunter Biden has been under investigation for 5 fucking years and Magats are going to try to make the case that he has been treated with kid gloves?
I can't watch because I expect Garland to repeat what he has already said, that he would not be partisan. Not be partisan to a political party that is complicit in destroying our democracy. See Scott Perry, he may even be on this committee, I know he is on the Freedumb caucus committee and he routinely attacks the FBI.
I hope Garland does strike a defiant tone and if he does I will write a thread commending his actions.
and people, stop calling this IRS employee a whistleblower, he is a Magat, he is not a whistleblower, does not fit the definition.
