Especially if you remove some of the unnecessary (for me) equipment.

Plus, they travel faster than light, have a transporter, and also have a replicator.

You can't lose!

It's a sweet apartment that travels through space! Plus, there is even room for a cat!

that they aren't the "Flat Cats" from Heinlein's juvenile _The Rolling Stones_. When fed and warm had eight offspring every 64 days...

Apparently, he received a signed shooting script from _The Trouble with Tribbles_ to acknowledge the flat cats inspiration of tribbles.

Nell had boobies:

and, of course, there was a real life counterpart in the film, Sybill Danning

Edit to add:

Hey, it's 4 am, what am I supposed to think of?

The Cygnus from that ghastly movie, Black Hole

However, what I really want is a General Systems Vehicle from Iain M. Banks' Culture. And give it a cool name

(My favorite name for an existing Culture ship is the Mistake Not..., which is short for Mistake Not My Current State Of Joshing Gentle Peevishness For The Awesome And Terrible Majesty Of The Towering Seas Of Ire That Are Themselves The Milquetoast Shallows Fringing My Vast Oceans Of Wrath.)

I'd keep the name Lying Bastard.

Hey, it (and more importantly its passengers) survived a nearly relativistic collision with the Ringworld more or less undamaged.

Not to mention the onboard autodocs will keep you alive and in good health indefinitely.

As for the name, it doesn't get any better than the original.

Flinx's ship The Teacher would be pretty awesome. Not sure about a name change on that one.

I liked the White stars of Babylon 5. Maybe have one named Xeno.

I'm sure there are others. I need a fleet, not just one ship.
