2. Congrat's David!

Very good! Best wishes on sales volume! On the photo of mission control, what are your thoughts on the "uniform" that everyone wore? I can speculate that it a) contributed to the "team" part of the endeavor, b) reduced time spent trying to figure out what to wear in the morning, and/or c) reduced any speculation that one didn't go home the night before (working, or...).

3. The vast majority of us weren't in the MOCR

We were back in our offices, working away in anonymity. And we all wore ties and dress pants and jackets. Some engineers wore suits. It was the times. What you see in those photos really was the uniform for male engineers and managers.

Polyester. In Houston. My car did not have air conditioning.

4. This looks interesting! Did you know any of the astronauts?

5. Nope

I encountered some in meetings, but even that was rare. Most of us spent our time focused on our very narrow specialties, and we didn't have much contact with people outside them, even other engineers.
