I thought the golf tournament was there. (It's on CBS)
They were running an USFL game. The very first shot I saw was a low endzone shot and I noticed that from around the opposite side 20 yard line, the entire circle of seats was empty. Neither side of the field, entire endzone. Nobody.
So, out of curiosity, I watched another 5 minutes.
I've NEVER seen so many close-ups of the huddle, coaches in the press box, tight shots of the head coaches, etc.
It was obvious the production team was avoiding shots that displayed an empty stadium.
Then it occurred to me, that I wasn't hearing cheering.
Finally, there was a sideline interview with a player on the bench. The woman interviewer & the player were speaking at a level that my wife & would while sitting on the couch watching TV.
That stadium couldn't be 10% full.

(59,165 posts)the NBA has for player development? And the NFL uses it also for experimenting with rules changes.
I say give it a chance.
