An inauspicious start for Carlos looks flat and he's committed way too many unforced errors, but it's a long match and I'm sure he'll right the ship.

Zverev is playing well. He’s gotten crafty after several years on the tour. Craftiness is a plus at Roland Garros.

But, like you said…plenty of match left.

2. It's been a disappointing match

Carlos hasn't played well at all and Zverev, the domestic abuser, has been playing well.

6. Despise Zverev.....and wanted Carlos to win so bad.....

3. I have no idea how Alcaraz

managed to pull out that third set. His play has been uncommonly sloppy throughout the match and I hope now that the crowd seems to be more into it, he's going to get it together.

5. Well I guess

if Carlos had played the whole match the way he played the 4th, he might have won, but he dug himself too much of a hole. Kudos to Zverev, though, because even though I dislike him a lot, he hit some amazing shots at key points in the match and never opened the door to Alcaraz.
