Takeaways from the Warriors/Celtics series IMO

Size and brawn does not guarantee victory. Thrilled that patience, resolve, teamwork and brains still count for something in the NBA.

Overlooked, perhaps: Stephen Curry's Game 6 defense late in the 4th quarter. He was magnificent.

Anyone else?

Curry had a big game. Wiggins had a big game. Green finally had a good game last night.

Celtics finally ran out of gas. Brown and Tatum were exhausted.

Both teams gave it their all. Last night’s game was a bit sloppy, because they were tired. Great Finals!

Which, ironically, is how the Celtics won a lot of playoff games.

Warriors can stop winning championships now, but I'm glad Curry got one when he was the superstar.
