The HP these new electric vehicles have. Even the big trucks. My guys are all motor heads and they were just discussing this at dinner the other night.

Although I doubt it will be a Rimac, or even a Tesla. As soon as the price comes down to a level comparable to ICE powered cars, I'll be on board. I have solar panels on my roof, so I will be able to charge it, essentially, for free.

But I dont need to charge it every day. Just once in awhile.

Just not the cost. I use the example of the Hyundai Kona, because it comes in ICE and electric versions. The electric version is $10,000 more expensive, for the base model. The electric version would save me around $1,500 a year in fuel, but it would still take me almost seven years to make up that difference. Probably won't keep the car that long, so I couldn't see paying the extra money.
