Car made her first roadkill today

Hit a skunk when I was leaving for the gym this morning - ran right out in front of the car before I could do anything.

This car's very first roadkill. (And hopefully her last too).

And yes, the skunk did leave a parting gift for my car.

It ran out of the grass that was right up against the road and there was absolutely nothing I could do. I couldn't find the animal after I hit it, but it definitely rolled under the vehicle and left some fur.

I felt bad the rest of the trip.
