WTF is this?


disregard the arrow for now, that is where leakage occurred. what the hell is this thing? it is not connected to anything at the right hand side of the pic, just the two places where it is mounted to the engine. I have never seen anything like that. oh it is an 87 toyota PU, this is a replacement engine about 9 months old that I might have finished off. Its part of an Exhaust gas recirculation system.

It was not used in all states but was there if needed because it was a replacement engine.
