Ferrets are Cool

I own two Rav4's. A 2004 and a 2005. Had them for years and love them.

BUT, in February, they both started doing something that is driving me crazy. Let me preface this with saying that neither one has any electronics installed....other than any electronic box that came with them from manufacturer. And, definitely no Bluetooth.
Here is the issue that began in Feb. They both start beeping LOUDLY if I go around a curve at what IT considers TOO FAST. Whatever is doing this will also shut down my cruise control.
Does anyone know HOW this was enabled in these two vehicles AND if there is any way to DISable it?
Thanks

Something in the internal computer, the part that diagnoses problems? Perhaps there's a service announcement about it?

Some vehicle models are built for years before parts change so two consecutive year models may have the same parts, like the onboard computer. Might check for service announcements at some place like cars dot com or something. That would be one of my top three responses.

Does the VSC light come on?

Do you have or can you borrow a OBD2 scanner?

Have it scanned for codes. Cheap scanners don't see ABS/VSC, so have it scanned.

My money is on dirty reluctors or bad wheel sensor(s).

I have two early 2000s Lexi with >300k and this is definitely the right time for this kind of failure.

ETA: when it beeps, does the slip indicator come on? Looks like a car with snakes chasing it 😉
