Finland man finds his first car 40 years later in spot where he abandoned it

A man in Finland was flabbergasted to find his very first car, abandoned behind his family's house 40 years ago, in exactly the same spot he left it.

Covered in moss and leaves, the green Ford Anglia looked pretty good for being out in the severe elements of frosty Finland.

Pekka Nummelin of Mikkeli was forced to junk the car in 1974, after the engine block cracked. The Ford had carried him over 20 miles of dirt roads every day, but a burst hose led to a chain of events that included Munnelin pouring water into the radiator, which froze overnight. When the man went to start the car, the icy water caused the engine to crack.

Last weekend, Pekka and Tommy decided to drive to the old family house, which has stood deserted since Pekka's parents died, to see if his virgin vehicle was still there.
