Any of you folks rebuilt a Muncie

I got a Muncie M20 that I'm putting in a 63 Ranchero gasser. It needs the front input bearing and you have to take the whole thing apart to do it. So I figured if I have to take it apart I might as well put a new rebuild kit in it. OH, I can get it apart, BUT, can I get it back together??????????? I can get a deluxe kit for about $135 bucks.

do you have GOOD snap ring and expanding ring pliers? Can you get things (bearings) removed and installed with a press?
If you have that stuff covered, get a book or Motor Manual/Chilton, lay some clean newspaper on the bench, and have at it!
