Related: About this forumAttention baseball fans. There's a new film out on Negro League baseball.
I saw the film maker, Sam Pollard, discuss it and the development time it took to make it on "Morning Joe" on MSNBC this morning. It's a Ken Burns-quality documentary.
Here's a link to the trailer: https://www.theleaguedocumentary.com/

Well worth a trip for any fan of the sport, or for anyone interested in the history of the Jim Crow era.
It saddens me tremendously what we as a nation THREW AWAY in the name of racism and hate.

The write-up at the link makes it sound interesting.
The "Baseball" episode "Shadow Ball" covers a decent amount of this topic. It's my 3rd favorite episode of the 11.
