1. I'm an anti Dodger fan, but Dave Roberts has 8 winning record seasons this far

and he has ownership that will spend billions. He has a long way to go but maybe he could do it if he wins a few World Series.

Unsurprisingly, he has the best winning percentage of 0.615!!!
In today's 162 game schedule that's an AVERAGE of 99.6 games per year! That's pretty amazing.

As long as MLB is littered with haves and have nots like NCAA college footbal and a commisioner who does nothing for the competitive balance it could happen again.

Just remember, the BIg Red machine was not allowed to trade for Vida Blue because it would disrupt the competitive balance of MLB but the 10 or so teams that can afford every free agent or international star can buy any free agent or trade for anyioe without the commissioner stepping in.

Add to that unbalanced schedules where you just need to outspend the teams in your division to get a winning record by beating up on the poor teams (with the possible exception of the AL East) and this is certainly breakable. Think of how many seasons the Cubs and/or Cardinals beat up on the Reds/Pirates./Mariners who had no payroll. Pick the other division dominant winners that outspend (again, the AL East is wonky because of so many big market high payroll teams)

Cal Ripken Jr -- unbreakable -- too much money and the anlaytics guys would literally stroke out
Cy Young 500+ wins -- nope
Pete Rose hit record also unbreakable
Nolan Ryan 7 solo no hitters
Van der Meer consecutive no hitters... no one will ever throw 3 complete game no hitters in a row.
