White Sox great Minnie Minoso passes away
Minnie Minoso, the first black player for the Chicago White Sox, passed away Sunday morning. He was 90.
The outfielder was born in Cuba and played 17 seasons in the MLB. He was denied entry into the Hall of Fame last year.

Few players get a hit at age 50.
Statistically, he falls just short of a HoF-quality career, which is not to say that there are not plenty of players not as good as him in the Hall. He's really close, though.
