(1,821 posts)Definitely, Tampa Bay
I'm pretty sure about the Mets but think Strawberry my have won one.
No clue about the other one.
True Dough
(20,275 posts)on your two guesses. The Mets (nothing for Straw) and the Rays are without an MVP.
One other team never earned one.

(186,650 posts)I mean Toronto did play a season in Buffalo
Wild guess, Im going with the Nationals.
True Dough
(20,275 posts)but Bryce Harper was NL MVP in 2015.

(186,650 posts)Trout could have. I still havent looked.
I thought of Harper but went with it.
True Dough

(2,899 posts)Marlins, rays, and and then Rockies
Can't remember a Padre but there had to be one
True Dough
(20,275 posts)but the others are not. Upthread, there's someone who guessed a second team correctly and it's surprisingly the NY Mets, despite their lengthy history.
The third team still remains a mystery.
someone like Larry Walker or Andres Galarraga won one for the Rockies.
The Padres had Tony Gwynn and Dave Winfield for awhile. Surely they won one at some point.
Maybe Arizona? But I thought Luis Gonzalez or Paul Goldschmidt won for the Diamondbacks.

(2,899 posts)I remember when the Rockies player made it in the hall of fame. It was the largest difference in home and away splits in the history of MLB.
People don't really understand why that super huge stadium and thin sir lead to so many more dink singles because the outfield has to play so deep because of the thin air.
I could not remember if Winfield got an MVP before he left the Padres. He was simply incredible. He could have been a pro in baseball, football, or basketball
True Dough
(20,275 posts)No MVPs for Gonzalez or Goldschmidt.

(69,888 posts)The Marlins, the Padres, & the Angels.
Wild guesses.
True Dough
(20,275 posts)The Diamondbacks, the Rays and, surprisingly, the Mets are the three teams in question.
ProfessorGAC
(69,888 posts)I guess I thought one of their super pitchers would have done the Cy Young/MVP thing.
I was considering the Ray's, but didn't think both Florida teams was a good bet.
I thought about the D'backs too. Don't remember why I eliminated them.
Thanks for the summary. I wanted to take my (poor) guess without reading any of the other pists.
