As a NY Mets Fan, I Would Like to Express My Gratitude to the Chicago White Sox For Taking that Monkey Off...

...our backs, 120 losses.

We were, of course, an expansion team when we set the record, and we played fewer games, but the gesture is appreciated.

Someone had to do it, fifty eight years is better than never.
