This is going to be a heart breaking World Series for one of these teams

The 2016 World Series will be a meeting of two perennial losers from their respective leagues.

The Cleveland Indians last won the WS in 1948. The Cubs last won it in 1908. While one of these teams will finally put their curse to rest, the other team will be stuck with it for at least another year.

Sadly, neither team has been able to field a winning team for more than a season at a time, which means that which ever team loses, they will most likely be condemned to another extended drought of loserdom and also ran-ism.

That's sports at its best: the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat.
