Baseball Story-Roger Maris

Last edited Tue May 22, 2018, 11:25 AM - Edit history (1)

Once a NY Yankee rookie was sitting next to his manager when they watched Roger Maris throw out a runner from RF going from first to third. The manager remarked, "you'll not see another throw like that in a million years."

Two innings later Maris did it again. The rookie commented, "time sure flies up here in the majors."
