Not quite fair to Ruth, Gehrig or Yogi. The post-season has layers to it now.

He played in 12 World Series, but never in a playoff game. If the Yankees had to get through multiple layers of playoffs each with up to 5-7 games to get to those Series (and I acknowledge they may not have gotten to them all), I think he easily would have hit more than 11 additional home runs.
